If Wishes were Horses 🐎

Prayer is one of the most powerful tools God armed us with if done right. My experience in counselling is that a lot of people WISHED thinking, that they have PRAYED.

They mentally ascent a preferred future instead of asking God to change a situation or speak to their mountain. For some, it has become part of their lingua subconsciously. Because anything coded in one’s subconscious, will soon become one’s reality.

Like the popular proverb says: ‘If wishes were horses, beggars will ride’ is a perfect description and the result those who substitute prayer with a wish will get.

Pray is active and will never be passive. Your mind cannot contact God only your spirit can. Wish is of the mind, prayer is of the spirit.

Articulate your request, get supporting promises from the scriptures that backs your request.

Then ASK! Believing it has been done already.
