Pentecost

Am about to ruffle your feathers.

The Holy Ghost didn’t baptise the disciples because they tarried, Pentecost happened because of God’s Times & Seasons.

The bible didn’t say, when the disciples prayed through or their prayers shook heaven, then there was a sound of rushing mighty wind. No! The bible says, And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. - Acts 2:1 (KJV)

When the day was fully come, as pre-ordained by God.

Pentecost occurred on the 50th day after the First Fruit because it had to happen on that day and not a day sooner or later. Same day the Law was given to Moses on Mount Sinai. This made Pentecost incidental, and not coincidental. God the Father descended on Sinai to deliver the Law, The Holy Ghost invades the upper room to deliver Grace! The Law - Letter; Spirit - Life.

The same way God descended on Sinai to give the commandments, so did the Holy Ghost invade the upper room (compare the scriptures). Then it came to pass on the third day, in the morning, that there were THUNDERINGS and LIGHTNINGS, and the sound of the trumpet was very loud, Now Mount Sinai was completely in smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in FIRE. Its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain QUAKED greatly. - Exodus 19:16,18 (NKJV) And suddenly there came a SOUND ( ἦχος ēchos; of uncertain affinity; a loud or confused noise) from heaven as of a RUSHING MIGHTY WIND, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of FIRE (πῦρ pyr; a primary word; “fire” specially, lightning), and it sat upon each of them. - Acts 2:2-3 (KJV )

AIM OF POST

The Holy Ghost didn’t first show up on earth at Pentecost. Remember He descended like a dove upon Jesus at Jordan? God is Omni-Present; this means He is everywhere are every time. God is every where because the Holy Spirit is every where. He is that Spirit that fills all in all. When the earth was in chaos, the Holy Spirit hovered over the face of the deep. When the saints will be raptured the Holy Ghost will still be here on earth and every where, He won't up and leave as believed in many circles, He cant leave. He is the Omnipresent God.

You don’t need to tarry to receive the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. You just need to ask if you are a believer. Just mere desire and request delivers the baptism to you (John 7:37-39). This is so because, it had been promised by the Father, He is a Gift, you don’t need to beg for it, just come to Christ and He is yours, if you believe. But you must ask in faith. And faith believes what it has not seen. Once you believe you have received it then you have it (Mark 11:23-24).

All through the New Testament, no one tarried to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, Believers who were already baptised, simply laid their hands on them, some just by hearing it preached, some even got baptised by the Holy Spirit before they were baptised by water- Acts 8:17, 10:44-48, 19:1-6
