We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; - 2 Corinthians 4:13 (KJV)
A lot of believers when faced with life problems, feel the weight so much that faith and believing God for a way out seems precarious. They get burdened and ladened so much so that giving up hovers over the horizon.
They don’t even have zest to speak the word over the situation talk less of pray because they don’t believe them that they will overcome and come out of that quagmire. Their faith is shipwrecked!
I have a simple solution to get your faith back and put satan on the run. Before I show that to you, let’s discuss the key verse.
Points to note:
"Same Spirit of Faith I believed, and therefore speak"
Same Spirit of Faith
Every Believer has the same spirit of Faith and the same measure of Faith. No one has more faith than the other. That why God gave every believer THE MEASURE of faith.
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. - Romans 12:3 (KJV)
However, your faith can be weak, little, strong or great. In the video I show how you can move your weak, little faith to strong-great faith.
And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. - Matthew 8:26 (KJV)
Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. - Romans 14:1 (KJV)
He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; - Romans 4:20 (KJV)
When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. - Matthew 8:10 (KJV)
I believed, and therefore speak
I met a young man that told so many lies that he can’t keep up with the stories he told different people at different occasions. One thing about him is that he has lied so much that he believes his lies. His lies have now become his realities. Psychologists have coined several names for this ‘disorder’, pathological liar etc.
But after thinking deeply about this, I figured how to use this for my good. When one doesn’t have strong or great mustard seed faith to move a mountain, he / she can strengthen his / her faith by reverse engineering the situation.
Since they don’t have the belief to pray, they can start speaking and declaring God’s word over that situation.
The bible talks about calling those things that be not as though they were. This means calling things you believe for or your exceptions as though they have already happened.
(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were). - Romans 4:17
Some say this is telling a lie since you saying things that don’t exist yet. But it isn’t because God also used and uses this principle.
When God re-created the world, he declared what wasn’t as if they were, and they appeared. If you heard Him say, “Light Be…” you will say He was lying until you see light flash out of darkness. So it is with us, when we call things that doesn’t exist yet as though they do, they will flash out of obscurity in no distant time.
What you say consistently over a period of time, will cross a threshold where your mind will believe it as true. That is the power of confession.
What’s my point?
When you believe God for a miracle, but your faith is weak; start confessing it! As you keep your confession going, you will start believing it. Start speaking it out loud, start discussing it with people. It will get to a point, unusual faith builds up inside of you which will create that miracle.
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. - Mark 11:23 (KJV)
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) - Hebrews 10:22-23 (KJV)
Faith, is that CONFIDENCE that is required to create the miracle. When faith comes, DON’T STOP CONFESSING IT either.
Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. - Hebrews 10:35 (KJV)
